One of the world’s religions, originated in the early 7th century A.D. on the Arabian Peninsula. The God of Islam (Allah) is the God of retribution for deeds, the God of judgment. The main thing in Islam is the doctrine of divine predestination and fatalism. Imbuing its followers with the idea of man’s powerlessness before Allah, Islam calls for humility and submission not only to the Almighty but also to his messengers on earth. That is why Islam proved to be the ideal religious and political basis for a centralized state and for warfare against its adversaries. Islam prescribes to be just, to repay good for good and evil for evil, to be generous, to help the poor, etc.
